Greg and Julia were high-school sweethearts and were married just after graduating from Sumner High School in 1981. They spent 4 years in Italy, while Greg served as a Military Police in the US Army. Some of Greg's favorite jobs were supervising and assisting the service and repair of the various cars, trucks and other vehicles in the Police Motor pool.
In 1985, Greg began his career at Auburn Foreign & Domestic Car, sweeping floors and doing general maintenance.
Julia became a stay-at-home (working) mom, who has always loved children. She also became a nanny for neighbors, family and friends. Julia gained valuable skills in business management when she created and staffed her own small business, offering housekeeping services to the Sumner, Bonney Lake, Lakeland, Lake Tapps, Auburn, Edgewood, Enumclaw, Roy, and Tacoma communities throughout the Pierce and King Counties.
Greg and Julia saw a great opportunity to own a family business after purchasing Auburn Foreign and Domestic; automotive service and repair in 2005 from the original owner. Our daughter, Natalie, will greet you with a smile at the front counter as your Cashier, Service Assistant and Customer Shuttle Driver. Currently our son Alex is off on his own ventures in the business world, after having spent a 4 years as our general maintenance staff, in the car wash bay, and the assistant parts manager.
Greg and Julia hired a personal coach specially trained with 1st class premium auto repair, as well as professionalism in management. With her own previous business ownership experience, Julia's valuable knowledge and skill, and her female perspective were fully implemented to ensure Auburn Foreign & Domestic's customers would have a truly exceptional service experience.
